Here’s the best DPS classes for dealing damage in The Burning Crusade.
When going into World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, you may have spent a lot of time preparing for what’s to come. This means that you could be working on getting more WoW TBC gold, or finding the best ways to get through TBC power leveling. Your class is also going to be playing a huge role in what your experience will be like. If you’ve been wondering what classes are best for DPS in The Burning Crusade, then the following choices are worth looking into.
Warlock
We will be kicking off the list with the best class there is for DPS. This is something that is worth investing TBC Classic gold and your TBC items into if you can. The Warlock brings curses to the table, allowing them to be used in boss fights as debuffs. Given that there is also the utility that it offers, your raid party stands a much higher chance of surviving. It has both Soul Stones and Health Stones that can be very effective.
For getting the best out of the Warlock, then go for the Destruction Warlock. It is common to use a few of these during raids as they have the most DPS. The Affliction Warlock meanwhile can provide debuffs to bring up your damage in raids too.
Hunter
A close second to the Destruction Warlock would be the Beast Master Hunter. Their sheer strength makes them one of the top choice choices if you’re going to pursue DPS. As with the Warlock, you’ll find around four of these Hunters in the raid group. They are coupled with an Enhancement Shaman that have the Grace of Air totem. With a Feral Druid also providing Leader of the Pack, you raid setup is going to be super effective.
It does depend on what your approach to the raid is, but you should run the Hunter spec that’s Survival for Expose Weakness as well. This will benefit your raid overall, even if it does mean that you will do less damage.
Mage
Your third best choice for DPS classes is the Mage. There is little doubt that they are not capable of competing with the Warlock or even the Hunter, but the sit in third place rather comfortably. When you are comparing them to lower DPS classes, there is quite a distance between them. The Arcane Intellect buff is renowned in the game, so much so that it secures the Mage’s place in many raid groups.
To make the most of the Mage, you will need to look into the specs that you’re using. Back in Classic, many would opt for the Frost spec, but this has since changed to the opposite side, with many preferring to now use Fire instead.
Shaman
There is a couple of options with the Shaman, one of which is better than the other. When we are looking at melee in The Burning Crusade, the Enhancement Shaman is one of the best choices that there is. When using Windfury Weapon, they will be capable of dishing out more damage than the classes that are available for DPS. Not only that, but they offer great utility as well thanks to the totems that they use.
In terms of your raid group, you should have them available for a Hunter group and a melee group. They have special talents that can help these groups. With Unleashed Rage, plus totems like Improved Weapon and Enhanced totems will be needed. However, if you’re in groups with Warlocks or casters, then the Elemental Shaman is the best choice. They will play a similar role as the Enhancement Shaman would in groups of Hunters and melee players. The Totem of Wrath will be the main aspect of this Shaman that will provide great support to Warlocks.
Warrior
The Warrior certainly deserves at least a mention here. It was used by many, back in WoW Classic, but it isn’t a likely choice for dealing damage or getting through The Burning Crusade power leveling anymore. Sadly, the Warrior’s prowess has not carried over into this expansion. They still have debuffs to offer to raids, but they are by no means the best choice of DPS class anymore.
Other ways you can get the most out of your experience would be to buy WoW TBC gold. You could also choose to buy WoW TBC accounts if you wish. However, if your priority is to deal as much damage as possible, then the class that you choose can most certainly help. There’s TBC items that you could use, but the Warlock or maybe even the Hunter are the classes to use.
