Rangers’ Powerful Strike Gives Celtic the Lead

A powerful strike from Lundstram has given Rangers the lead in their game against Celtic. Although he hasn’t had a particularly good start to his time with the club, it’s clear that he can play, as he is capable of running from box to box. In fact, it could be argued that his box to box abilities are so great that he has the potential to become a long distance runner.

Celtic dominate

Celtic have opened up a five-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership after a 4-0 win over Rangers at Ibrox. It was Celtic’s first Old Firm clash of the season and they dominated from the start.

In the early going, the Scottish champions played at a faster tempo than their rivals. This helped them score two goals. Liel Abada and Matt O’Riley gave them the lead in the first half.

The second half was a complete reverse. Celtic dominated the first half and were rewarded in the first minute. However, they struggled to maintain their intensity.

Rangers were able to impose some early pressure on the home side. Scott Sinclair converted an early penalty and David Turnbull grabbed a goal after an error from the Celtic goalkeeper. However, this was not enough to deny Celtic their fifth straight win.

Lundstram’s poor start to Rangers

Despite having a very poor start to the season, John Lundstram has proven himself a valuable figure at Rangers. The Scouse midfielder has been one of the most consistent players in the Scottish Premiership this term and is a great source of energy. But is he a fit for the Rangers RCM position?

Lundstram has been a key player in Rangers’ turnaround this season. The 28-year-old midfielder has been a key contributor in two man of the match performances in a row. He has also had an impressive season with the club, helping them to reach the Europa League final.

After a disappointing start to the season, Lundstram has come good with his attacking flair. His goal against Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League Final was an example of this. He has now scored five goals in the current campaign.

Lundstram’s box-to-box running is that of a long-distance runner

It’s a safe bet that Rangers fans are going to have a good time watching John Lundstram this season, and they might just do it without a fuss. Despite his lack of match action, the Scouse has been a key player in the club’s revival since it was a hive of trouble in recent years. He has made an impression by producing indomitable displays in the boxy midfield and at right back. And while his best moments have been more of a rarity than the norm, his commitment to his craft has never been more apparent.

Although he hasn’t clinched the biggest prize of any team, Lundstram is the newest member of the Rangers fraternity, a swagbag who is more than capable of picking up the slack when he isn’t at the helm. His displays of wit and class have also kept the club’s jaded fans on side, while his ability to play two roles at once has proven invaluable in a team lacking a real midfielder of the calibre of Glen Kamara.

Lundstram’s performance in the Premier League

The arrival of David Lundstram to Rangers is a major move. He’s not just a quality player; he’s been a great fit for Gerrard’s side and has given them a bit of a midfield lift.

Lundstram is a great box-to-box player and has proved that he can power past opponents. He also has a good understanding of the game and has the ability to complete short passes.

Lundstram is a passionate central midfielder. He’s a hard worker and can complete all kinds of tasks. He can also play a useful role in the right back position.

His goal-scoring record is impressive; he’s managed eight goals in the Premier League this season. Lundstram also played a key role in the victory away at Borussia Dortmund in February.

Lundstram’s future at Rangers

John Lundstram has signed a three-year deal with Rangers, confirming he will continue to play for the Glasgow club. Lundstram will be available to face Ross County in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday, and he will be available to face Celtic when Rangers travel to Parkhead on September 3.

On loan from Everton, Lundstram played a pivotal role in Manchester United’s two-year Premier League stint. He was a key player in the team’s promotion to League One.

His move to Ibrox last summer was a free transfer. Lundstram was disappointed to miss two league games due to injury, but he was impressed by the treatment he received.

He played an important part in the ninth-place finish last season. After returning from a long-term ankle injury, he was given a chance to make his mark at the club. And he showed plenty of progress in the final match of the campaign.
